IV Therapy in Richmond Hill
100% absorption. Zero digestion. Get vitamins and hydration delivered straight to your bloodstream. Walk out feeling clearer and lighter, often before the bag is even empty.
Straight into the blood, not through the gut.
Swallow a vitamin and your stomach and liver decide how much of it you actually keep. Often that is a small fraction. An IV skips both and puts the full dose where your cells can reach it.
- Full dose in the bloodstream, no digestion in the way
- Useful if you have gut issues, low absorption, or a poor appetite
- Fluids rehydrate you faster than drinking water can
- One clean cannula placement by an injector with 24 years behind it
Eight drips and two shots.
Every bag is a different colour in real life, so we coloured each one here to match. Pick by what you want to fix, and we will confirm it is the right call at your intake.
Prices for every drip and shot are on our pricing page.
Cellular Reset IV
NAD+ TherapyFor deep fatigue, brain fog, and the kind of tired that sleep does not fix.
- NAD+ is the coenzyme your mitochondria use to turn food into usable energy. Levels drop as you age.
- Supports mental clarity, focus and cellular repair.
- Runs slowly over 2 to 4 hours. A fast NAD+ drip causes chest tightness, flushing and nausea, so we do not rush it.
- We start you on a low dose your first session and build from there. If a clinic offers you a 30-minute NAD+ drip, ask how many milligrams you are getting.
LumiGlo IV
Brightening IVFor dull skin and uneven tone.
- Glutathione and vitamin C, the two most asked for brightening nutrients.
- Supports an even tone and a fresher-looking complexion.
- A common booking before weddings, holidays and photo days.
HydraGlow IV
Radiance & HydrationFor when dehydration is showing up on your face.
- Balanced fluids with biotin and B vitamins.
- Rehydrates faster than drinking water, because it bypasses the gut entirely.
- Skin tends to look plumper and less drawn the same afternoon.
Vital Shield IV
Stress & Immunity IVFor the run-down weeks, and the ones before a long flight.
- Vitamin C, zinc and B complex together in one bag.
- Supports immune function when you are stressed, short on sleep, or around a lot of people.
- Books out fastest in cold season and through exam and tax season.
- If you want a high-dose vitamin C version, we screen you for G6PD deficiency first. That is a blood test, and it is not optional.
MetaBoost IV
Fat-Burning SupportFor people already training and eating well.
- Lipotropic blend of methionine, inositol and choline with B vitamins.
- Supports how your body breaks down and uses fat for energy.
- It supports the work. It does not replace it, and we will tell you that at the consult.
Cell Defense IV
Antioxidant IVFor oxidative stress from training, city air and long weeks.
- High-dose glutathione, the antioxidant your body makes on its own and runs short of under stress.
- Supports liver function and everyday detox pathways.
- Given as its own push, because glutathione and vitamin C cannot share a bag.
Vital Fusion IV
Vitamin Therapy IVThe all-rounder, and the best first drip.
- The classic blend: magnesium, calcium, B complex, B12 and vitamin C.
- Supports energy, mood and recovery without targeting one thing.
- If you are not sure which drip you need, start here.
Vital Iron IV
Iron Therapy IV · Medical, not wellnessFor diagnosed iron deficiency, when tablets have not worked or you cannot tolerate them.
- This one needs bloodwork first. We treat confirmed low ferritin, not a hunch about being tired.
- Bring a recent ferritin or CBC result to your consult and we can move faster.
- Infused slowly with monitoring for the whole session, since iron carries a small reaction risk.
- If you have not been tested, we will send you to get tested before we book you. Every time.
Quick shots
Intramuscular, no drip line, in and out in about ten minutes.Sunshine D Shot IM
Vitamin D InjectionVitamin D3 into the muscle. Worth asking about if you work indoors, get through an Ontario winter without much sun, or have darker skin, which makes less vitamin D from the same light. Supports bone strength, mood and immune function.
B12 Energy Shot IM
Vitamin B12 InjectionMethylcobalamin, the form your body can use right away. Common for plant-based diets, and for anyone on long-term acid reducers or metformin, both of which lower B12 over time. Whether it helps depends on whether you are actually low, which is a blood test.
Every shot on this page is given by our lead injector, not handed off. Shots can be added to any drip on the same visit. Need something none of these cover? See Custom IV Therapy below.
Custom IV Therapy
Sometimes the bag you need does not exist yet. Jalal builds it. Twenty-four years of watching how different bodies answer to what goes into them is the part you cannot get from a menu, and it is the reason people come back for this one.
- He starts with what you are chasing. A race, a recovery, a surgery date, a stretch of work that is taking more out of you than it should.
- Then your history. Recent bloodwork if you have it, what you have already tried, and what did nothing.
- Then he formulates it. The actives, the doses, the ratios and the drip rate, set for you rather than for the average person.
- And he adjusts it. Your second custom bag is rarely identical to your first, because by then he knows how you responded.
Most requested by athletes building toward a peak, people going into or coming out of surgery, and anyone whose last drip somewhere else did nothing at all.
What actually happens, start to finish.
Intake form
You fill it in when you book. Medications, allergies, past reactions, pregnancy, and anything going on with your kidneys, thyroid or heart.
Injector review
Our lead injector checks your blood pressure, reads your form, and talks through what you are hoping for. If a drip is not right for you today, we say so.
Sit back
A small cannula goes in, which feels like a quick pinch. After 24 years the placement is usually first try. Then you are in a recliner with wifi for about 45 minutes.
Straight back out
Line comes out, we watch you for a few minutes, and you go. No downtime, no driving restriction, nothing to take home.
Ask us the questions you should be asking.
IV therapy in Ontario sits under real rules. Starting an IV is a controlled act under the Nursing Act. Any clinic should be able to answer all of this without hesitating. Here are our answers, so you can compare.
Who puts the line in?
Our lead injector, with more than 24 years of experience placing lines and giving injections. Every drip and every shot on this page goes through the same pair of hands. Nothing is handed to a junior on the day.
Who is the prescriber responsible for my drip?
Every protocol we run is ordered or covered by a signed medical directive, with the assessment criteria and contraindications written into it. Ask at the front desk and we will tell you who signed yours.
Will I be assessed before my first drip?
Yes, every time, not just the first. We ask about pregnancy, kidney function, allergies, current medications, and any history of cardiac or thyroid problems. Some answers mean we do not proceed.
Where do the bags come from?
From a licensed compounding pharmacy. The bag, the additives and the lot numbers all go in your chart, and we will name the pharmacy if you ask.
What are the contraindications?
Every drip has them. If a clinic tells you a drip has none, that is your answer about the clinic. Yours will be explained before you agree to anything.
Can I get a copy of my chart?
Yes. Ontario's Personal Health Information Protection Act gives you that right, and we will not make you work for it. Ask and we send it.
Different people, same tired.
The things people ask us first.
Does it hurt?
One quick pinch when the cannula goes in, then nothing. Our lead injector has been placing lines for over 24 years, so it is usually first try and usually over before you have finished bracing for it. If you are nervous about needles, say so when you book.
How long does a session take?
Most drips run about 45 minutes. Cell Defense is closer to 30. Cellular Reset with NAD+ is the outlier at 2 to 4 hours, because pushing NAD+ quickly causes flushing, chest tightness and nausea. Shots are about ten minutes door to door.
Can I get something that is not on the menu?
Yes. That is Custom IV Therapy. Our lead injector formulates the bag around your goal, your history and your bloodwork rather than picking the closest thing off a list. Book a consult and bring any recent labs with you.
How often should I come?
It depends on why you are coming. Some people book once before an event and never again. Others come every three or four weeks through winter. We will give you an honest answer at your intake rather than sell you a plan you do not need.
Is IV therapy covered by OHIP or my insurance?
OHIP does not cover elective IV vitamin therapy. Some extended health plans reimburse it when a Naturopathic Doctor administers or supervises it and your plan includes naturopathic care. Check your plan booklet, and ask us for a receipt with the practitioner licence number on it.
Do I need a referral?
No referral is needed to book. Vital Iron is the exception, because that one needs bloodwork confirming low ferritin before we will run it.
Is there anyone who should not get a drip?
Yes. Kidney disease, some heart conditions, certain thyroid problems, pregnancy, and a few medications all change the picture, and high-dose vitamin C requires G6PD screening first. That is exactly what the intake is for. Sometimes the right answer is no, and we will give you that answer.
Can I do this on my lunch break?
For most drips, yes. There is no downtime and no restriction on driving afterwards. Bring your laptop. The only one you cannot fit into an hour is Cellular Reset.
Come in tired. Leave sorted.
Book at Donya Medical Spa and our lead injector will work out which drip is right for you, or tell you honestly if none of them are.
IV therapy is a supportive wellness treatment. It is not a diagnosis, a cure, or a replacement for care from your family doctor or emergency services. Everything on this page is general information, and what is right for you is decided at your assessment.
