RADIESSE (+) in Richmond Hill
One appointment. A sharper jawline you see the same day, then months of your own collagen rebuilding underneath.
Injected by Jalal AhmadiLead Injector, 24+ years How RADIESSE works: skin renewal across 5 distinct measures of skin health
RADIESSE does not just treat one issue. It works on several building blocks of skin health at once, and each one reinforces the others as the months go on.
Collagen Type I
Topping this one back up is what gives skin its strength and its resilience.
Collagen Type III
This one builds an organised scaffolding inside the skin. That organisation is what separates RADIESSE from undifferentiated collagen stimulation such as scar tissue.
Elastin
Regenerating elastin brings back the bounce and recoil that age-related sagging takes away.
Proteoglycans
These proteins help skin hold on to moisture, which is what a plump, hydrated glow actually is.
Angiogenesis
RADIESSE generates new blood flow to feed the tissue, opening a route for oxygen and nutrients to keep skin healthy.

Lauren's journey to a firmer décolleté using RADIESSE
At 50, working as a lifestyle model and actress, Lauren wanted something for her décolleté wrinkles that nobody would be able to point at. She describes the treatment as a smooth experience with gradual, transformative results, and calls RADIESSE the firm foundation that keeps her appearance in step with the confidence she has picked up each decade.
Why your RADIESSE injector matters more than the filler
Hyaluronic acid fillers have an undo button. An enzyme dissolves them in a day. RADIESSE is calcium hydroxylapatite, and there is no enzyme for it. So the only thing standing between a beautiful jawline and a bad one is the person holding the syringe.
Depth and plane, every single time
Too shallow and you get nodules. Wrong plane and you get something far worse. That judgement is what 24 years buys you.
We will put you on a reversible filler instead
If you have never had filler before, or the area calls for something soft and forgiving, Jalal will say so and use an HA filler. Losing that booking is fine by us.
Lips are a no. Always.
RADIESSE is not for lips, and any clinic offering it there is telling you something about themselves. Mobile tissue and a filler you cannot remove is a combination we do not touch.
Full medical intake before anything is opened
Bleeding disorders, severe allergy history and amide anaesthetic allergy all rule RADIESSE (+) out. We ask before we open a syringe, not after.
RADIESSE is FDA approved and award winning
RADIESSE questions our Richmond Hill patients ask
What makes RADIESSE (+) different from regular RADIESSE?
The (+) has 0.3% lidocaine mixed into it, so the injection itself is measurably more comfortable. It also holds its shape better once placed, which is why it is the version used for jawline work. Health Canada approved it in 2015.
Is RADIESSE approved and safe?
RADIESSE and RADIESSE (+) are FDA approved and licensed by Health Canada. RADIESSE (+) is the first injectable approved to contour the jawline. You can read the FDA approval document yourself. It is not suitable for everyone, which is what your consultation is for.
How is this different from the fillers I have had before?
Most fillers only add volume and then fade. RADIESSE adds volume on day one and then triggers your own body to build collagen I and III, elastin, proteoglycans and new blood supply. You keep the benefit of that work after the product itself is gone.
Does it hurt?
Less than people expect. The lidocaine is already in the syringe, and we numb the area first as well. Expect some swelling or a little bruising for a couple of days, then nothing.
How long does it last?
Twelve to eighteen months for most people, and some report longer. The collagen your skin builds along the way is a separate benefit that outlives the product.
What if I do not like the result?
This is the honest one. RADIESSE cannot be dissolved the way HA fillers can, so it settles and softens on its own over months. That is precisely why we are conservative with the first session and why an experienced injector matters more here than anywhere else.
What does it cost?
Every price is published on our pricing page before you call. How many syringes you need depends on the area, and we will give you that number at your consultation rather than over the phone.
How soon can I go back to normal?
Straight away. Treatment takes about 30 minutes depending on the area. Book two weeks before any wedding or event so any swelling has fully settled.
